“Either to please or to educate.”

Quintus Horatius Flaccus (8 December 65 BC – 27 November 8 BC)

“A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation. Salons were carried on until quite recently in urban settings.”

We’re bringing back conversation and connections through our On the Couch Salons

Bringing together people to explore, discuss, share and create themed evenings of human exploration, what makes a great life? How do we flourish, what if we are languishing? From sex, sin and non-conformity to gratitude, peace and mindfulness, Urban Woot is curating a fabulous season of thought and idea provoking Salons, everyone is considered equal, a space to listen, talk and be inspired.

Our Salons are coming back Autumn 2014:  We are planning Salon Supper Nights with Jesse Dunford Wood at Parlour, Kensal Rise
